Why is a red-caped woman making dark magic in the woods?

Huxley doesn’t believe in magic. But when he moves to the Black Forest, he has to admit some VERY strange things are happening.

First he meets Clementine - a roller-skating scientist girl who can make atomic hot chocolate. And Karl - a mad-haired German kid who says he’s related to warrior fairies and owns the largest pen-knife collection Huxley has ever seen.

Then Huxley himself develops atomic hearing and throws a school bully across the school yard. Which is quite good, really.

But things are about to get even stranger. When Huxley, Clementine and Karl find a dead deer in the woods, it’s clear dark fairytales are rising. Especially since a red-caped woman has been seen lurking at night.

Clementine says the deer is riddled with shadow light and the children must solve the mystery. Quickly. Because lurking beneath the Black Forest is the wolf god, Fenrir, who will devour the sun …
